| Material: 2-pieces of construction paper Pom-poms Pipe cleaners Craft spoon |
| Directions: 1. Fold construction paper in half and draw a heart on the fold. 2. Cutout and repeat. 3. The hearts are the wings of the butterfly. Glue the tips of the hearts to each other. 4. Cut a small piece of pipe cleaner, fold in half and make a small circle at the folded end. Curve the tips of the pipe cleaner. Now glue this round end to the hearts at the top for the antennas. 5. Place four-five pom-poms in a line and glue together to form the body. 6. Glue the antenna to the bottom of the first pom-pom. 7. Make a small hole in the top and bottom of the craft spoon big enough to thread string or wire through. Glue the body of the butterfly to the spoon. 8. Decorate the wings. 9. Once the butterfly is completely dried, thread one piece of string through the top hole and a second through the bottom hole. Make sure it is long enough to drape from the ceilin. Tie all pieces together and hang. |
